Eden Prairie builder wins national honor (Columbia Heights - Fridley Sun-Focus)

Eden Prairie-based mackmiller design+build has been named a winner in the 29th Annual Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards Contest for designing and creating an adaptive bathroom for a Mendota Heights special needs boy. The firm received a Gold Award in the Universal Design category.

Wednesday Food Galore

It’s a holiday and the whole family is home. It is also raining so it is a perfect time to spend a relaxing day at the house. Flushroom Finished!

At last the tiling makeover of the first-level bathroom is finished. I think it looks swell. What do you think? Nick and BJ have mad home remodeling skillz. We did rip up the sub-floor and install hardibacker which took a bit of extra time. The baseboards had to be re-caulked and repainted. I got to use a tile-saw and a nailgun for the first time.
